新概念2从12月开启到现在学到第9课，跟一册不一样的是。计划把新概念的每一课打算背下来，同时能默写或仿写。主要是不想让自己太闲。

新概念二，第9课

  A cold welcome

  On wednesday evening,we went to the Town Hall.

  It was the last day of the year and a  large crowd of people had gathered under the Town Hall clock.

 It would strike twelve in twenty minutes' time. 

 Fifteen minutes passed and then,at five to twelve,the clock stopped.

 The big minute hand did not move.

 We waited and waited,but nothing happened.

 Suddenly,someone shouted,"It's two minutes pass twelve,the clock has stopped!"

 I looked at my watch.It was ture.

 The big clock refused to welcom the New Year.

 At that moment,everbody began to laugh and sing.
