In  chapter 4,Nick was asked to invite Daisy to his house.We knew that It was Gatsby who wanted to see Daisy through Nick.

So Nick invited Daisy to his house.Before that ,Gatsby visited Nick's house.He asked someone to get the grass cut.He even rendered a offer for Nick's help.On the day agreed upon flowers arrived from Gatsby.Then Gatsby arrived. Gatsby was worried about that Daisy could't come.When they met,Gatsby behaved embarrassedly,so did Daisy.Finally the embrassment went.The rain stopped.Gatsby invited Daisy and Nick to his house.They visited Gatsby's house.Gastby hadn't once ceased looking at Daisy.Finally Gatsby and Daisy had forgotten Nick.Then Nick went out of the room and down the marble steps into the rain,leaving them there together.
