对于NICK来说他是不会感到惊讶的,我也不会。这样的一个拜金主义至上的人呢怎么可能会这么做,甚至划清界限还来不及。

On the last fly-leaf was printed the word SCHEDULE, and the date September 12th, 1906. And underneath:

Work..................... 8.30-4.30 P.M.
Baseball and sports............. 4.30-5.00 "
Practice elocution, poise and how to attain it 5.00-6.00 "
Study needed inventions........... 7.00-9.00 "

Be better to parents
(我想GATSBY真的是一个一心想要出头的年轻人,很早就对自己要求如此之高。这也不难理解,作为一个出生家庭背景如此的人,难道不想要拼搏一把吗?这就好比现在社会,寒门子弟,总归要为自己的前途拼搏一把的,可是这样的年轻人却并不知道有钱上层社会的是怎么操作和运作的,所以这个社会真残酷啊)
What is Nick’s final feeling about Tom and Daisy?
NICK对于TOM和DAISY只能说除了鄙视和厌恶,甚至可以说已经无话可说,相当于对于恶人,但是却还理直气壮觉得自己委屈的恶人,旁人是根本无法和这样的人理论了的。对于TOM 和DAISY这样的人,有没有伦理道德,有没有做人的底线都已经无法判断了。
看完整本GATSBY,最后留下长长的一声叹息。。。。
这个社会总归是有恶人的
这本书 太值得反复 读了 以后我还会再拿出来读一读
