短语 1 All over the shop
短语 “all over the shop” 虽然看着还像是说购物，其实它的意思是指“零乱，没有规律，到处都是”。这不仅可以用于说东西零乱，还可以指某人去了很多地方。这是一个非常口语化的英式表达。
例句：
Look at the state of your bedroom. Your clothes are all over the shop!
看看你卧室的状况。卧室里到处都是你的衣服！
Where were you? We were looking all over the shop for you.

make a song and dance about something
Don’t make a song and dance about it. You don’t have to have any potatoes if you don’t want.
如果有人因为一些小事而做出不相称或不恰当的激烈反应，那么你就可以说“they are making a song and dance about something”；也就是汉语里说的“小题大做”。不过注意这是一个非正式表达。
