HOW BREE BECAME A WISER HORSE 

Question

1. Why did Bree want to wait before going to Narnia? 

Bree wanted to wait till his tail's grown again. 

2. Why did Aslan give Aravis the scratches on her back?  

The scratches on her back, tear for tear, throb for throb, blood for blood, were equal to the stripes laid on the back of her stepmother's slave because of the drugged sleep she cast upon her. Aravis needed to know what it felt like.

3. Who is Prince Cor? 

Shasta. 

4. How did Prince Cor come to being Shasta?  

The Lord Bar succeeded in kidnapping Prince Cor and rode away down the Winding Arrow to the coast. He put out to sea with Prince Cor on board.  

The king Lune took the ship in the end. But Bar had given Prince Cor to one of his knights and sent both away in the ship's boat. And that boat was never seen again. Aslan pushed that boat ashore at the right place for Arsheesh to pick Cor up. And Arsheesh called him Shasta.
