King Tirian acts “rashly.”  What does “rash” mean?  What does Tirian do that is rash?  

Rash means without careful consideration of the possible consequence.  It’s easier to make mistakes or behave foolishly.

When hearing the appearance of Aslan in Narnia, Tirian didn’t research more and just thought it was true. He was rash and impetuous. He just wanted to go up rive and fought with villains when knew some people felling trees in lantern Waste. he did not see how foolish it was for Tirian and Unicorn to go on alone.

At the beginning of this chapter Tirian is given some good, wise counsel.  What is the counsel?  Who is it that brings this counsel to the king?  

 Roonwit, the Centaur, told the counsel to the King. He said the rumour that Aslan is abroad in Narnia is a lie. And some great evil hanged over Narnia.

How well does Tirian listen to his counsel and act upon it?  

 Tirian didn’t believe someone can lie on the appearance of Aslan. I think he didn’t listen to his counsel and investigate it. The king and Unicorn said Aslan is not a tame lion, not do anything under the stars foretold.  

Which creature does Roonwit say will never lie?  

 Roonwit said that there are no liars among the stars. The stars will never lie

What conclusion does Roonwit draw from this fact? 

Roonwit might know the king’s character- rashness and impatience. So when the king decided to go fight to protect the trees only all three of them. Roonwit reminded the king to keep wary in his just wrath. He would like the king to wait while to get more Narnian to join in.
