1-nourish
Food is supposed to nourish the body, energize it and keep it strong.
2-sooth 使镇定,得到安慰
Instead of feeling refueled or even soothed, we feel anxious after a meal.

A similar issue can crop up in people with food allergies.

The experience of reaction is so traumatizing that an individual can become paralyzed and develop somatic symptoms of anxiety just by smelling that sepecific food again.

If the anxiety hits you out of nowhere, the culprit may be more emotional.
9-aversion 厌恶
I have seen some clients come in who have developed aversions to food that they ate during the holidays because they're reminded of specific negative experiences that happened to them during this time of year.

Sugar and caffeine are both well-known triggers for shakiness, heart palpitations, clammy hands, and a racing mind.

Too much processed sugar can cause your blood glucose spike and crush, which in turn makes you irritable.

15-fight-or-flight response 战或逃反应,急性应激反应
16-amplify 扩大,增强
Caffeine, on the other hand, causes a jittery feeling that triggers your fight-or-flight responses, and can amplify stress.
17-reach out for 伸手去拿;急切寻求
