1.What does Polly notice about the Lion’s song in Chap. 9? 

 Polly was finding the song more and more interesting because she thought she was beginning to see the connection between the music and the things that were happening.This was so exciting that she had no time to be afraid.

2.What does she think is going on? How effective is the Witch’s attack on the Lion? 

  she felt quite certain that all the things were coming  "out of the Lion's head". When you listened to his song you heard the things he was making up: when you looked round you, you saw them. 

  It was no effective,the lion's walk was neither slower nor faster than before.

3.How does the Lion respond? How do Jadis and Andrew respond to the Lion? 

The Lion paid no attention to them and passed by them .

Uncle Andrew ran down to join th river and the Witch ran away.

4.What makes Uncle Andrew so excited about "commercial possibilities"? 

  In this world the commercial possibilities of this country are unbounded.  He just needed a few old bits of scrap iron here and then they will grow some brand new.

5.What did he discover? 

  The lamp-post was growing in this young world so Uncle Andrew thought the magic was ture .

6.What does the Lion to all the creatures just before He wakes them up? 

  The lion though sang to wake the creatures up and then choosen two animials of every kind of the creatures.

7.Can you think of anything like that which happens in the Bible? 

 Sorry ,I did not read the Bible,so I did not know the story.

8.What does the Lion say to the Beasts?

  "Narnia, Narnia, Narnia, awake. Love. Think. Speak. Be walking trees. Be talking beasts. Be divine waters."
