1、What are the names of the two creatures introduced in Chap. 1?

  one is called  Shift  and another is called Puzzle.

2、What do their names make you think of ? Do their names seem appropriate?

 Shift this word has these meanings,such as ingenious、stratagem,so I think this creature whose name was Shift is very clever and eloquent.

  And about Puzzle ,this is obvious,must be a little slow and not very  clever.

   Though this passage I have to say their names were very appropriate,Shift was clever and much crafty and a little hypocritical.About Puzzle,a honest donkey,he totally  afriad Shift was mad at him no matter ture or not.

3、How would you describe personalities? Their character?How are they different?

  Shift who is very clever,when there are some difficult things he will ask Puzzle to do these politely,and take care of Puzzle spoiled.

  Puzzle would do every thing Shift  told him no matter what he want or not.Puzzle don't want Shift sad or hurt,so he do the dangerous thing like drop in the pool which was floating and cold.

   Because Puzzle don't think him was smart ,so he did the thing Shift told him ,and when he did want to do it ,he always said it straightly.Shift was the other side.
