本周已经完成28&29章节，这个是之前的笔记。忘记发了。

读中文版并没有如此强烈感情。看英文版，语气的沉重与坚决让我佩服。本章节对死亡景象的描述真的好令人难过。荒凉寂静，只有死尸。

一个19岁的女孩子，经历了丈夫新婚后不久死亡，带着一个孩子，最爱的母亲也离开，亲眼见证了战争中的死亡。她没有选择退缩，她选择了坚强的面对一切。 Scarlett由一个任性的大小姐开始承担起重担。一个人的迅速的成熟是因为经历了重大的变故，因为要担负起曾经不必担心的责任。这也是我亲身经历。变得强大是因为有要保护的人，要承担起责任。

as freckled as guinea egg: 

freckle:  雀斑

guinea: guinea fowl 珠鸡, a large African game bird with slate-coloured, white spotted plumage and a loud call. 

Guinea:几内亚，所以guinea fowl又被称为几内亚鸡。 我网上搜索了照片，不过因为涉及到版权问题，正好我想起来我在伊斯坦布尔的时候就看到过，还特意拍了照片，应该就是这种鸡。这种鸡下的蛋上就都是很多斑点。看来那个时候的女人怕长斑，不像现在的欧美人不怕。
