Hi All, 

A quick end of year note from me. It's been a big year at 我们公司名, particularly on the marketing / digital teams (我们部门）. Lots of new people in new roles, lots of investment in big projects like rebrand, tech transformation (website, attribution and affiliate) and agency consolidations. There have also been tough challenges in certain markets with aggressive competitors (won't name them but you know who!) - and despite all of this we have successfully grown the business and beat our profit budget! 

I would like to thank you for all your hard work and dedication in making 2018 a successful year. As we look forward to 2019, the growth ambitions for the company will still be high, but with above mentioned investments I am sure we will rise to this exciting challenge.

In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy the Christmas and New Year break. Eat, drink, be merry...etc and I will see you in January.

We have successfully grown the business and beat our profit budget! 

“我们成功扩展我们的业务，也成功在超出我们预计的盈利。这里 beat the budget，beat的意思就是exceed超出，超出我们预计的盈利，一般每一年都会在年初有一个整年的预算和预计的盈利，当然也要控制在一定范围内的CPA - cost per acquisition（这是我常常要看的数字，因为在营业额增长的同时，也要控制好CPA - cost per acquisition 也就是成本，每一个营业额背后我们花出去的资金投入，可以是营销广告费用，可以是人力成本，和其他公司合作我们给出去的费用等等全部）

2. 表达感谢和祝福

I would like to thank you for all your hard work and dedication in making 2018 a successful year. 

这句非常赞，也很常用，可以背起来。这句的意思就是感谢大家在2018年努力工作和付出，2018年我们取得很不错的成绩。

dedication就是付出，贡献。

3. 对新一年的展望

As we look forward to 2019, the growth ambitions for the company will still be high, but with above mentioned investments I am sure we will rise to this exciting challenge.对2019年寄予厚望，但乐观从容应对新的挑战。这句话的意思是，展望2019，公司依旧有着非常高的盈利增长目标，但我相信我们在2018年开始不断投入了很多（上文提及在请人新合作等等方面的投入），我们会在令人兴奋的新挑战下取得佳绩。

We will rise to this exciting challenge. 非常好的表达，当你要表达我们要在令人兴奋的新挑战下取得佳绩，表现喜人的时候可以用，rise就是上升的意思，这里很好的表达了我们会更进步，更取得好成绩的寄望。

4. 圣诞和新年祝福

I hope you all enjoy the Christmas and New Year break. Eat, drink, be merry...etc and I will see you in January.

学起来！be merry的意思就是要开心，我们常说Merry Christmas的merry就是就是快乐，开心的意思，做形容词的时候可以说be merry意思就是be happy 要开心要快乐。

新一年2019，我信心满满，无论在全职工作上，自己未来事业个人品牌提升上，还是在自我提升上都非常very ambitious，欠下的工作总结和新一年工作aggressive目标和自我提升，这几天再好好思考，再作分享。
